NextWeb was the first fixed wireless operator to be named
to the Inc. 500. NextWeb was awarded position #104 on the Inc. 500 list in
2005 - and was #8 in telecom!
NextWeb was named number 13 on the 2005 San Jose
Business Journal Fast 50 list of Silicon Valley Growth
companies. This is the second consecutive year NextWeb was
named a "Fast 50" growth company.
NextWeb CEO Graham Barnes was named a finalist for the
2005 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for
Northern California.
People
NextWeb was founded by Graham Barnes, Mike Gresham, Matt
Prudhon and Jim Kirchner. Peter Pham, Wireless Engineer,
was employee #1. The founding team included Michael
Saddik, Vikas Khanna, Beth Rautiola, Mike Kuester and
Kevin Paugh. Roles and positions changed along the way as
we did whatever it took to succeed. Later key employees
included Sam Metri, Steve Button, Eric Warren, JR Becko,
Ron Rolland, David Holder, Steve Ondrak, Greg West, Gil
Moreno, Mike Lawrence, Joe Saullo, Mike Valenzona and Hung
Nguyen, and many more.
