Climbing |
One of my passions in life is to climb in the beautiful
and challenging mountains. Here is a summary of my
climbing attempts (my climbing resume): click on the
mountain for photos. As you will see, I still have some
unfinished business on several peaks as my success ratio
has been (as expected) substantially less than 100%.
Nevertheless, in these extreme places one can find great
personal rewards through living life to the full, with
focus, relaxation and commitment.
So far, I have climbed 6 of Steve Roper and Allen
Steck's Fifty Classic Climbs in North America (Mount
Hunter, West Ridge; Mount Rainier, Liberty Ridge; Crestone
Needle, Ellingwood Ledges; The Royal Arches, Yosemite; and
Lovers' Leap, Traveler Buttress (lower section),
California).
